Minimum enrollment of 8 is required for each class. Registration deadline is one week prior to scheduled training date. Classes that do not meet the minimum enrollment will be canceled. You will be notified by email of any changes to the schedule. We can expand the number of trainees we accommodate if participants bring their own laptop. When you enroll, let us know if you can provide your own computer.

Topic: Pennsylvania Benefits
The Pennsylvania Benefits trainings will give counselors the skills needed to assist clients in applying for Food Stamps, Medical Benefits, Cash Assistance, Property Tax and Rent Rebates, PACE/PACENET, LIHEAP and Child Care Subsidies.

    The Pennsylvania Tax Training will give counselors the skills needed to assist clients in filing their 2009 federal and state tax returns. The course covers basic tax principles and helps to explain concepts such as filing status, tax deductions and credits.

    Please note: northbound C bus stop is discontinued temporarily.
    Parking
    Parking lots are on Broad Street north of Lombard and also on the 1500 block of South Street. There is no parking available at the SfP office and little street parking available in the immediate vicinity. If you do find street parking be sure to check for posted time limits!
